Join Us for a ‘Taster’ Day!
We recognise that choosing the right garden design course for you - one suited to your skills and expectations - may seem a little daunting. We certainly want all our students to enjoy our course: to find it challenging and satisfying.
If you think the GDS Diploma Course will broadly meet your needs, why not attend one of our 'taster days'? You'll have the opportunity to meet our founders and principal lecturers, Robin Templar Williams and Moira Farnham. We'll explain exactly what our course covers, how it is taught and what you are expected to study in your own time. Above all, it's a wonderful opportunity for you to ask questions and put your mind at rest about any concerns you may have.
We also give you the chance to meet ex-students - people who have successfully completed the Diploma course and lived to tell the tale!
Taster Days provide a perfect opportunity to visit our college, meet our principals and previous graduates, view students’ work and learn all about the GDS Diploma Course and careers in garden design.
Details of forthcoming 'taster days' appear below. Places are limited so please contact us immediately if you wish to attend. There is a nominal charge - currently £25.00 - which includes a light lunch, all refreshments and handouts (this is refunded if you subsequently enrol for the course).
We look forward to meeting you!
TASTER DAY DATES
Our next Taster Days will be held in the Spring and Summer of 2009, prior to our 2009/10 Diploma Course which begins in September 2009. The exact dates will appear on our website towards the end of 2008. If you wish to visit our college before these events take place, please check the information below on ‘Taster Sessions’.
TASTER SESSIONS
If you are unable to attend one of our Taster Days and/or wish to visit our college at some other time, why not attend a ‘Taster Session’ instead? These sessions take place on Tuesdays during term time and you are invited to sit in on a regular lecture. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss our Diploma course with one of our Directors and meet our current group of trainees. Taster Sessions last approximately two hours and we ask you please to pre-book your place, ideally at least two weeks in advance. To make the arrangements please contact Cheryl Williams on 01380 728788. |
