Admission, Tuition Fees and Enrolment Procedure
for the Diploma Course
Admission
No formal qualifications are
needed to take the course, though a keen interest
in garden design is essential. The programme of
study is quite intensive - approximately three
10 week terms of lectures (one day a week) with
further independent (home) study of 24-30 hours
per week. Before enrolling for the course we strongly
urge you to tell us about your background and
objectives so that we can be certain ours is the
right course for you.
Tuition Fees
Fees for the 34-week 2008/9 Diploma Course, commencing September 2008, are: £5,985 (including VAT)
Fees are payable, in full, by August 1st 2008.

Fees cover the cost of tuition
and refreshments during morning and afternoon
breaks. The lecture room is equipped with parallel
motion A1 drawing boards (one per student). Students
also qualify for membership (one year) of the
Society of Garden Designers (as correspondent
members).
Fees do not include: Lunch (obtainable
in a nearby restaurant or students can bring their
own) or the equipment/materials needed both for
class work and for independent study. A list of
equipment students should possess or obtain is
available on request.
Enrolment
Enrolment for the Garden Design School Diploma Course is strictly on a 'first come, first served' basis. A deposit of £500 must accompany your completed application form and this deposit is not refundable once the School has written to you with an offer of a place on the course. If an offer of a place is made to you, the place will not be confirmed unless you have completed, signed and returned the School's acceptance form by the date specified. Once a place on the course has been confirmed by The School you are obliged to pay the balance of fees (£5,485) no later than 1 August 2008, whether or not you take up the place accepted.
