In 1996 she began lecturing
at the Merrist Wood College in Surrey and

drafting, presentation and drawing to colour
theory and application, planting design
and project management.
In 1999 Moira joined the
English Gardening School, London, as a freelance
lecturer. Here she held advanced ‘Master
Classes’ for practising garden designers,
tackling subjects as diverse as drafting,
freehand drawing, perspective and isometric/axonometric
techniques. Her courses attract students
from around the world.
Moira is a Registered Member of the
Society of Garden Designers and, while serving
as a Council Member, took special responsibility
for raising the profile of the garden design
